Southern California Fair 2025

We went to the fair! I was do eager to see if I won any ribbons.  After standing in a long line to get in, we headed to the expo area. Here are my blankets and sweater. I really feel sad, fifth? This was my very best.  Well, it’s still mine, and I love it. It’s cozy, cuddly and fluffy. I use it on the couch while watching tv. This is a semi sweater. Short sleeve, heavy but comfy.  The lace in the frame isn’t mine.  They hung my paws upside down. Oh well.  Dwight was smiling, until he saw me aiming my phone. He loves those Colonel Clinker Dogs! After eating, we went looking for my miniatures. In the meantime, we saw farm animals. This makes me so sad.  I really shouldn’t eat cow anymore.  Or turkey.  I swear he’s showing off his gorgeous tail, looking at me.  Nekid sheep!   I don’t want to eat pigs either. Dwight said if we had a way, we could take one home.  A particular one he saw.   After this, we went back to the expo room. ...

A Day at Morongo’s Pow Wow

Beautiful day today.  We went to the Thunder and lightning Pow Wow at Morongo.   I felt so peaceful there. The mountains looked especially beautiful with a little bit of clouds decorating them.  We got there at 11. These are the vendors outside. We are not allowed photos inside. I had to have frybread. My very first time. I am officially obsessed!  Esther told me about it. I just haven’t had it. I had it with honey. It was the size of a dinner plate. I ate the whole thing!  I’ll go on a diet tomorrow. Dwight and I watched the opening, flag presentation and all contestants walked in. So many of them!!  Gorgeous regalia. Beautiful people. Men, women, and children.
